Google Press Center: Zeitgeist

Of course, Bears were the most popular animal search on Google last month. Take a look.

Notice anything new? Enjoy my latest venture into the thing called Flash, with dynamic text! Also, the old Flash Test Animations have now retired (unless you bookmarked the pages they were on).

I give you all the NEW birthday song...don't ask...

Deep within the womb of time,
a creature dost be born.
See the light you united with
the ache of tyranny.
Presses forth from within the womb of life
for three-quarter but nigh a year,
the creature dost be born.
The creature dost be formed.

And every year
raineth down
the celebratory tears.
A celebration of the years
from the immortal sky.
A year of years...

[The number of years] bells will chime
when the heavens open up
and drink from the silver cup.
The creature dost be born.
The creature dost be born.

And blow the magic horn...

I just got a great new program for sending pics to the site, here's where I update this thing from. Posted by Hello

Just a quick note to confirm:

I will be transferring to Middle Tennessee State University next year, or as we know it down there "MTSU". I've had a great time up here in Ohio, and I'll miss this place. Thanks everyone for being supportive while I was struggling through making this decision, which seems to be the right one, for me.

Anyway, 8:00 class tomorrow...

The best episode EVER of Aqua Teen was on last night. Shake makes a new "Birthday Song" recorded by Zakk Wylde and Geddy Lee (okay, so it was a really bad Geddy Lee impersonation, but still hilarious). The whole show, Meatwad is singing Rush lyrics, as well as the classic Tom Sawyer 7/8 synth solo! This is while they are going past Geddy's "Bass Guitar Shaped Airplane", with the owl from Fly By Night on the front. I could only respect the show 10x more after seeing this one, that's a lot of respect. "Gotta' Respect the ATHF!"

There were a few thunderstorms that rolled through here last night, however, just like summer in Tennessee, the sun rose today and out came the heat and humidity, and the chance of more rain this afternoon, etc. Also, the pollen here is so thick you can literally see it floating in the air, which could explain why every class I go to is filled with sneezing, sniffling people (including myself).

As I am typing this, I'm listening to Blur's album, "Modern Life Is Rubbish". Now, what exactly am I doing with such a "pop" album? I bought it a few years back...and I haven't really listened to it in a while, but dang it, its a great album. It's not "prog" by any stretch of the imagination, but it has some killer hooks and the best musicianship of any album by the band. Unfortunately, Blur has been slowly degrading in quality since about 1995...so beware of any releases after "Parklife".

See what happens when I finish my TCOM exam in twenty minutes? I end up killing time here until my 10:00 class, and start babbling on about stuff people most likely don't care about.

Summer is still 24 days away. Quarter system...crazy.

The end of the weekend is coming...

I saw the Lewis Black special on HBO, and he's sure one funny guy. I'm sure they'll be replaying it a few times, so if you see an angry old man on HBO, give him a chance.

I found a great studio for Bear Attack! to record at someday...

That's all for now.

It works NOW.

Yes, I took the dive and am trying my hand at stand up comedy for my comedy class...wish me luck.

Sorry if this page was the first place you heard about my transfer plans, I just thought it was a really cheap, impersonal way to get the word out :-/

Look out for Bear Attack! An 80's metal band that will rock your town in Summer of '04. I'm not kidding, the Atttack! begins this June. Really...not an alter-ego of Oyok. A completely new band. Called...you guessed it, Bear Attack!

Count how many times the phrase "Bear Attack" appears on this page and you will win a free bear to attack, if it doesn't attack you first of course. Thats how life with bears goes, you just have to let the bears be bears and take the bull by the horns, which will turn those lemons into lemonade. This is of course troth x3, no jk. If you don't understand this paragraph, you're about the biggest idiot in the world...jkl. (If you don't understand what jkl means that's ok with yo).

Don't worry, that will all make sense if you never forget the umpire.

Here's what it was like dealing with Portland to get the drumline website back
(That's a picture of my sent mail folder...)

It's too hot to do anything, so I won't.

Yeah so I got my ten bucks and spent half of it on food. That's about the only thing I have bought since January...food. All right then, 8:00 class tomorrow!

I'm about to go get ten dollars for a follow up to a psych experiment that I did last quarter. I can use any cash I can get my hands on, so thankfully I had the foresight to sign up for this survey.

I also have a room reserved here, if I happen to come here next year, which at this point seems pretty unlikely. I think I've made up my mind about transferring to MTSU, but I'll sleep on it for about seven more days just to make sure.

It's hot here. Not like they had to give us air conditioning in these dorms or anything, huh? A fan just won't cut it when it gets up here in the high 80's with high humidity. (Here I am in Ohio complaining about humidity, I can't wait to get back to the Tennessee conditions).

Speaking of Tennessee, I'll be back there June 11th if anyone was wondering.

I guess now you can add comments to any new posts I make here, so feel free to do that.

Let me just say that this is no joke, I'm being serious as a bear attack here:

Dream Theater and Yes are TOURING the U.S. this August and September.

I repeat, Dream Theater and Yes. Together, on the same stage!!!!!!!!!

Go check dreamtheater.net if this seems too good to be true.

Shake
YOU ARE MASTER SHAKE -- A large, human-sized cup of
ice cream, Master Shake is a lazy bum with no
morals or values. He spends almost all of his
life watching movies on TV or relaxing in his
neighbor's pool. He enjoys torturing Meatwad,
lying, cheating, and generally causing trouble.
Liked by few, needed by none.

What 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force' character are you?
