Ducky Does What Ducky DoesThis is where I write about things.Friday, January 18, 2008Jeff Garlin at Zanies![]() Larry David's agent and best friend from "Curb Your Enthusiasm," Jeff Garlin, will be doing his stand up thing at Zanies tonight and tomorrow (Jan. 18th and 19th). So if anyone wants to head to Nashville with me to see what is sure to be a hilarious show, let me know. Showtimes are 7:00 and 9:00. Only thing is, tickets are 25 bucks, and you're forced into buying two items once you get in there, whether that's food or drinks is up to you, but still, it's a two item minimum. BUT... I mean, come on, it's Jeff Garlin. So do let me know if you're interested. Tuesday, January 15, 2008Back to the "Blogosphere"
Okay, so I hate the term Blogosphere, but everyone's using it these days and it fit in my title pretty well.
Anyway. I haven't posted in my Xanga since September of 2006, and ever since this summer I've been considering getting back to the habit of writing about whatever-I-feel-like, whenever I feel like it. While considering this I also considered how much better Blogger is than Xanga (sorry, loyal Xangans). I mean, most of my friends have stopped posting over there anyway, and plus it has banner ads and horrible layouts that you can't really customize, and so on. So now I'm back to posting here on dsherman.blogspot.com, and thanks to the magic of technology everything I post here is also simultaneously put up on my facebook notes as well. So why did I come back to blogging now? Good question. Answer: I've got a bit of free time on my hands as of now. As some of you may know already, I'm not attending MTSU this semester. And in fact, depending on how awesome of a job I can find, I don't know when I'll be back. After five years of schooling, four of those in Murfreesboro, I really got burnt out, badly. So I'm taking this time off to work, which hopefully will lead to me getting a car, which then can allow me to move in to an apartment/cheap rental property, after which I will look into finishing my education (because I'm so freakin' close to being done, really). This is a tentative plan, of course, but that's kinda the framework of how I want this next year or so to pan out. So if anyone knows of people seeking full-time employment, let me know. Also if anyone is in Brentwood or a 30 mile radius and is bored, let me know as well (since even after I get a job my night/social life will be severely lacking seeing as how I'm living with the parents at this point). And I do plan on changing my page design from this stock layout when I get the chance. But for now, I'm off to eat some food.
