Things

So what's been up the past few days?

I didn't do much on Friday...researched for a presentation (for 3 hours, digging through magazines). I also talked on the phone to Luke for about 45 minutes about just this and that...it was nice. Even though we live 30 seconds away, we don't ever see each other. Just utterly shameful, I say.

I worked on Saturday, and told Jay of my possible bricking plans this summer. He OFFERED to keep me on the payroll! I was willing to give up the Goody forever, but we all know that you can't escape this job. Even if you try. Am I right, all you Sam Goody employees out there reading this?

Also at work Jay and I discussed Rush for an hour or so. I mean, what a cool job where you get paid to talk about one of your favorite bands...with your boss. It's a good deal.

I also ate dinner with my parents on Saturday night, and then came back to my home away from home...although it feels more and more like 'home' now that it's been a full school year. Anyway, I hung out with Adam and Matt Flub for a while and watched 'Eegah' (the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version...of course).

Sunday I worked on a project and nothing else.

And today, I presented that project, it went great. I also discovered that I will be working every night for multiple hours on multiple subjects from here until early May. But I guess I'm in College, so, this is what we're supposed to do, so I'll stop complaining. I will not put complaints about doing lots of work in my away message. That's for sure.

So that's what's up...more to come later, I'm sure.

More than 365 days later...

On April 12th, 2004 I set up this account with Blogger. It is now April 15th, so I guess that means I should make a post in honor of it being over a year since this thing got going.

A year ago, I still had this page cleverly displayed in a frame on my old website, which is now non-existant.

Last year at this time I was in Ohio, debating whether or not I would be going to MTSU, and there are a few entries relating to that.

Now I'm typing this from the house I mentioned in this post, and it's almost time for me to make a bunch of "school is almost out" posts I guess...

I'm now diving into the end-of-the-year rush, and I can't wait for it to end. There are just too many papers to write/projects to do/tests to take. I guess its hard to believe, but there's only 2 more weeks left in school. Then its the summer, and yes I am excited about that (as if you had to ask).

Summer will hopefully be filled with work, at my potential new job with some sort of bricking company. Yeah, it would be a departure from working indoors selling CD's, but the appealing thing is the 10 dollars an hour, and 40 hours of work a week (as opposed to sam goody's 10 hours a week at about a little more than half the wages).

So of course if I get a job with the brick people, I would probably have to...quit...Sam Goody. Or at least for the time being. Shocking, I know. I don't know what I'm going to do when I have to buy CD's at full price again.

That's about it for now.
