I'm Home

And right around the corner, my 20th birthday...

...just a reminder...

anyway, I just got my schedule for Sam Goody, and I only have about 6 hours. I need another job, or just 1,000 dollars. (Reach me via PayPal, user Oyok2112).

Glen Lake was great. I ate and slept a lot, that's all that needs to be done up there. When I get the old photo assistant thing up and running on my computer here at home, I'll treat you all to some great lake photos (in my opinion).

Going back a few days, I had a manageable time at MTSU's "Customs" (pre-college). I was tired as bears, for obvious reasons (I stayed up kinda late the night before, plus it was at 7:30 AM!). I also met some people who I may or may not see again. I also learned what its like to go to college, although this was the transfer session so they didn't spend much time on that part. I got my classes, and my student ID though, that's the important stuff. As of now, my schedule goes something like this.

So, to sum things up, I'm back, call me, we'll hang out, thanks.

Glen Lake

I'm at a library near Glen Lake up in Michigan, just wanted to say hello to everyone in my internet audience. I'm enjoying doing absolutely nothing up here, its been a really relaxed week, but I'll be back Sunday afternoon.

Home

Well, after hitting a deer and loading and unloading my entire dorm room, I made it all the way back to Brentwood. And I haven't been able to update this page until now since I've been out almost every night (and day) with old friends.

I only have about 9 hours of work at Sam Goody this week, and I NEED money. Second job? Maybe.

Anyway, there's not much else to say, it's summer and I've been lazy so far, no need to change that now.

This is it

My last day at OU. It's been a really great experience to be here, and I'll miss lots of the people I've met and places I've been. There really isn't a way to write down exactlly what is going through my mind as I get ready to pack. Keep in touch, I'll come visit next year, even if I have to steal a car :-).

Two today, one Thursday

That's all I have to do for exams. Then, it's time to go home. I don't know if I've posted anything about this before...but school is almost out.

Ben's away message said OYOK = Friday.

I called up Jay today down at Sam Goody, and guess what? I'm working there this summer! (Huge surprise, right?) If I can find a higher paying job I may do two jobs or I might...actually leave the "Goody", but that's highly unlikely. Seeing as how most jobs will already be taken by all the kids down there on the "semester" system. Most of my friends have been out of school for nearly a month now...and they all seem to be working at Cozymel's.

What else...hmmm, I might get a little cash from my Linguistics book when I sell it today. Hopefully enough to get some CD-R's, do laundry, and try some sushi at the new Japanese resteraunt here in A-Town. More than likely I'll get like 5 dollars or something ridiculous for it.

This message is now over, I'm off to shower and get some breakfast.

In less than a week...

I will be home. All these friends of mine have been out of school for a month, and here I am, waiting to take exams...whatever. This should be an easy exam week, and then it'll be a not so easy time trying to pack all of my stuff into a van, BUT, after that, I will be heading back to Brentwood.

The "True Trio" aka "Nick, Dave and Jeff" played our one and only show on Friday night. If you missed it, check out the LIVE VHS version of the show coming soon, everyone wants a copy of this show.

Anyway...time to "study for exams".

Done

That's it for classes...

One more class...

that's right.

Hey, this is being posted via e-mail!

Well, the people at Blogger.com are
just plain amazing. I can post this by sending an e-mail to a special
address, as I am doing right now. Pretty cool stuff.

Two more classes and it's all over! I'll (almost) be a college sophomore,
but that has to do with transfer technicalities really, so I'll just say my
freshman year is over, and that sounds better.

Well, while I'm on my e-mail program I may as well send some e-mails to
actual people, not just use it to update my website.

Stand Up and Shout

Yeah, so the comedy thing went GREAT. It was an amazing group, which kept the crowd in it the whole show. I think I did pretty good, and so ends the saga of my stand up career. Maybe. Who knows. We'll see if I ever do it again...now to english, five pages? No problem.

There are titles on this thing?

Well, stand-up tonight, then sit-down...and write a paper. Yeah, school is almost out for summer people, and I've been excited about it since I flew back from Spring Break. I could count the number of classes I have left on a three fingered hand. Yeah, linguistics was cancelled for Thursday, I think. My prof was real subtle about saying it, but I was alert (being up since 7-ish) and picked up on it.

Did I mention school is almost out?

This week will be the only performance of the "True Trio" (even though one guy in it is from Brown Hall). So be there, Baker Center, 10:30-11:00, and I'll try to have a drumset there to play on.

Must write paper. Must practice comedy one more time. Must press "publish post" button.
